Thank you, Chaplain Donna, for creating this blog on your web site. Perhaps, we could get started by listing some topic areas that people may want to discuss. Here are some ideas:
(1)Prayer and its power to bring conversion in the workplace.
    (2) Praise Reports (3) Prayer Petitions (In this case, one blogger could present petitions and everyone else could offer prayers on-line. That is all for now. JMP

Joe, great suggestion for all of us to post prayers, prayer requests, praise reports and thoughts on prayer in our daily lives in general.  So lets get this started and pray that others would join in this amazing gift of the Holy Spirit: PRAYER!

      God bless,

Dear Holy and Living God, we present your daughter Andrea to you. We place her before the Throne of Grace and ask that You, our Savior and Redeemeer, would heal her. You have instructed us O Lord to ask for the desires of our hearts (John 15: 7). Today we are asking. Dear Jesus, may your Precious Blood wash over all of us, but in particular, may you wash Andrea clean. Remove all forms of darkness, so that your wonderful healing presence may be obvious within every cell of her body. We ask this in your Holy, Powerful, and Good Name, Jesus.
          Amen.

Would like everyone to pray for my co-chaplain Jon McHatton and his family as they grieve the loss of his father, Charles McHatton.

His father had a huge impact on this state for Jesus Christ. He started KHEP Christian radio years ago and he started several churches and touched many lives for the kingdom of God.

    Thank you for your prayers.

    God bless

    Dear friends,

I will be posting your prayer requests and needs on this blog in hopes that everyone can come here to ask for prayer, encouragement and any immediate need our prayer partners might be able to help with.

It is my constant prayer that you will be lifted up in encouragement 24/7 and you will know just how much God loves you. I am committed to praying for you, and having others pray as well.

Let me know what you think about using this blog as a means to interact with one another, I appreciate your feed back. I really would love to see the Capitol Prayer Luncheon expand and our group would become a mighty witness for God. It is everyone's luncheon and I would hope that there is a call on everyone's life to see that we are doing the best that we can in reaching the lost for Jesus Christ.

May the Lord keep you ever close to Him and may the Holy Spirit keep you mindful of the Glory of our Savior Jesus Christ. Through His Power and Mercy we are delivered from the hand of the enemy! Amen! Let us run and not faint, let us mount up on Angel's wings and not despair. God is still on His throne and we can trust Him in all things for our lives. He is in control and we can trust Him for all our needs.

I am praying that you will subscribe to this blog and we can build a team of mighty prayer warriors for the kingdom of God! Go team!

      Hi everyone,

Please add your prayer requests to the updates that Donna Moody logged from this Wednesday's Prayer Luncheon. My trip to New York and the United Nations should prove to be very exciting and I want to keep you all updated while I'm there, so just keep checking the blog to get your daily updates.

I hope you all can get out to see Jake's Corner this weekend and support this family friendly film...an independent film that was shot in Arizona using our state's actors as extras and even one of the main characters was our very own Colton from Peoria Az! Colton beat out 3oo kids to win the part of the main star's, Richard Tyson) nephew. That is amazing!

Our special guests at the Prayer Luncheon, B. J. Thomas & producer Hollywood Heard, were wonderful. B.J. is a charming, generous man, signing autographs for everyone, even signing our Daily Bread meditation booklets. How fun is that? What a great guy.

I hope you are all well and please pray for all of our requests posted and post your praise reports as well, so we all may be encouraged!

      God bless,

      Chaplain Donna Kafer

      Dear Praying Partners,

I am thanking our Lord almost continually for your consecration to Him for the 2008 Prayer Initiative for the United Nations to be held September 10-11, 2008 in New York City. Your presence there will be of great eternal value. Remember:

You are a Temple of God in which the Holy Spirit resides. You will bring His Holy Presence there.
You will be bringing and make sacred space for Him and the culture of His Kingdom directly into the powers of the culture of the nations of the earth.
You will be ministering to the Lord in worship and ministering as His servants as you walk the halls and sit in the seats of authority in the United Nations Conference Rooms.

Ask our Father to help you prepare for this historic gathering. He has had this on His calendar so the great cloud of witnesses will be joining us.

Secure at least three saints to earnestly pray for us all each day Wednesday and Thursday, September 10 and 11. Pray for a canopy of the power of protection of the blood of Jesus as His disciples travel from most of the fifty United States.
Take one 24 hour day for the Chosen Fast. This is from sundown one day to sundown the next day. Give God all of this time. Fast from food as you are physically able. During the 24 hours, only speak to our Lord (our owner), only read His Word, only hear His still small voice. Sleep in His peace. Allow Him to give you rest to the health of your body, mind and emotions. Receive the comfort of the Holy Spirit to unite with your spirit that brings revelation of the Scriptures with gifts, fruits and graces. Minister to the Lord in blessing Him with all that is within you. Enter into His presence, the Most Holy place, to better understand the essence of living, breathing, moving, taking actions and having your personhood wrapped in Him. You will be filled with His consuming unconditional love and ready to fulfill the commission He has for you.

I look forward to being there with you in His presence. This verse, John 1:16 in the Amplified is our Lord’s promise for us. “For out of His fullness (abundance) we all received – all had a share and we were all supplied with – one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift (heaped) upon gift.”

      It is all about Jesus!

P.S. Until we see you face to face, please lift up the following needs in prayer:

Wisdom and strength for all decisions
That every person and UN Ambassador that our Father desires to attend will be there
Traveling mercies (especially for those facing hurricane threats in Florida)
Financial provision for the enormous expenses involved in the Prayer Init
